I can't wait to go back. "Grandy's Place" is a perfect name for a grand living space as well as a place that can hold magical moments. I highly recommend having morning coffee in your jammies while you sit on the rocks watching the tide's comings and goings.

Our stay was so peaceful and relaxing. Couldn’t beat the ocean views and ending the day with a quick walk to the beach to view the sunset!
The large open living area is ideal for family gatherings. The furniture and beach decor was spot on! The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and the beds/linens were super comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back!

We've been staying at Ocean Park for decades. Grandy's Place tops them all - quiet location, spectacular views, modern conveniences in a beachy atmosphere. Wish we could have stayed longer. . . we'll be back!

My stay at Grandy's Place at OP was truly serene and warm. The rooms were cozy, and inviting with beautiful ocean views. Having space to sprawl throughout the spacious living areas was amazing and made me feel at home. Ocean Park is such a quiet town and being so close to the beach while also walking distance from the sleepy town center was ideal for peaceful strolls during my time there. The luxurious amenities-- from the soaker tub to the beautiful kitchen-- were just the cherry on top of an already amazing place. I will definitely be returning to Grandy's Place for another peaceful and relaxing stay.

Mid-April visit to Grandy’s Place, Ocean Park, ME (April 22, 2024)
had a fabulous visit to this luxurious oceanside retreat in Ocean Park. Off-season is super-quiet, but there was evidence of the area coming alive for the summer. We hope to visit again in-season to experience the area in full swing!
The house is just 100 yards from a gorgeous beach that is walkable with returns via any number of side streets. Nice 3 mi loop up to the pier and back through town. There is a beach-side amusement park by the pier that looks like a LOT of fun for families.
The house itself is spacious, very well appointed, and extremely comfortable. Families will love the open main floor with TV viewing, porch views of the water, dining, and kitchen all within conversational reach of one another. We sat by the downstairs fireplace to watch a movie, and lit the upstairs one to take the early morning chill out of the air. It was still cool in April, but there is a cozy outside seating area while cooking at the grill.
We appreciated how close Grandy’s place was to our CT home, and that we got to take evening drives to Portland and Freeport for dinner/shopping. Wholeheartedly recommend you select this home for your family gathering!
